STEP 1: Prep & Grind
More than two pounds of organic vegetables and fruits are used to create one bottle of Lumi Juice. The produce is washed, prepped and ground with a slow-moving blade that limits the exposure of the produce to heat, air and other variables. Cold-pressed juice maintains the integrity of the raw produce’s nutrients.
STEP 2: Press It
The crushed material is poured into a mesh bag. A hydraulic press extracts nearly all of the liquid from the pulp allowing for optimal juice yield. Vital nutrients, minerals, and vitamins are kept intact.
STEP 3: You Down with HPP?
Once bottled, High Pressure Processing (HPP) applies extreme water pressure to inactivate harmful bacteria, while preserving the vital nutrients. HPP is a natural way to preserve food because it eliminates the microorganisms that cause spoilage without the harmful effects of using chemicals or heat. This process keeps the nutrients and flavor intact for a consistent fresh-squeezed taste.
STEP 4: Enjoy
